Refresh & Co began in New Zealand as SpruceNZ seven years ago, helping homeowners prepare their properties for sale with practical, affordable styling solutions. When we returned to Australia at the end of 2024, I brought that same care and expertise here, evolving it into Refresh & Co, transforming lived-in homes through thoughtful design, honest advice, and creativity.

I’ve always been drawn to art, design, and creativity; it’s been part of who I am for as long as I can remember. After studying design and art history, my career took me through HR and running my own recruitment business, Jigsaw Jobs, where I learned the importance of helping people achieve their goals, a value I bring to every home I style today.
Design, décor, and staging are my creative outlets and passion. I love helping homeowners see the beauty in their space, whether it’s refreshing a lived-in home for sale or designing a new one that truly reflects personality and purpose.

Traditional staging focuses on empty, new developments or properties where homeowners a willing and able to vacate while on sale and willing to replace all their furniture. At Refresh & Co, our lived-in styling approach works with what you already have, we establish your overall style, then enhanc what your have, rework layout, flow, and atmosphere so your home feels inviting and buyer-ready without the need for partial or full staging.

Our service follows a two-step process.
Step 1 is a 2.5-hour in-home consultation where we walk through each room, reviewing layout, flow, presentation, and overall style. You’ll receive an action checklist with simple, practical steps and styling ideas to complete. Once done, we return for Step 2, Installation, where we stage each space so it photographs beautifully and makes a strong impression on buyers.

Absolutely. Our entire service is designed for lived-in homes. We help you declutter thoughtfully, rearrange with purpose, and style each room so it looks polished but still feels like home.

Presentation directly impacts how buyers perceive your home, and that affects both interest and offers. Styled homes photograph better, attract more attention online, and create an emotional connection during inspections. While full staging isn’t always necessary, thoughtful styling makes a noticeable difference in how your property performs on the market.

Our lived-in styling service follows a two-step process, and each step is priced separately but they follow after each other.
Step 1 - Consultation: $350 + GST (2.5 hours in-home)
Step 2 - Installation: $350 + GST (2.5 hours staging, once your checklist is complete)
This approach keeps costs transparent and affordable, most homeowners find it a smart alternative to full staging, achieving maximum visual impact with minimal disruption.
